It happens to everyone. You come back to your car in the supermarket car park and there's a fresh dent in the door. Or someone's nicked past you on a narrow lane and left a scratch down the quarter panel. Maybe a stone's flown up on the motorway and chipped the bonnet. It's annoying, but here's the good news — most of this stuff can be fixed without a full respray. I deal with cosmetic damage every week at my workshop in Wicken, and nine times out of ten the repair is quicker and cheaper than people expect.
For smaller dents — shopping trolley dings, car park door dents, that sort of thing — I'll work the metal back to shape, fill where needed, and block it smooth. If the paint's cracked or the dent is deeper, I'll build it back up properly with filler, prime it, and do a localised respray blended into the surrounding panels. You won't see the join. Either way, the repair is done to last — not just slapped over to hide it.
Scratches vary a lot. Some are just in the clear coat and can be machine-polished out in minutes. Others go right through to primer or bare metal, and those need touching in properly before they start rusting. I see a lot of keyed paintwork too, which is gutting, but it's fixable. Stone chips along the front bumper and bonnet are another common one — I can touch those in individually or, if there's a lot, do a full nose respray. Depending on the damage, I'll use filler and block work, machine polishing, localised resprays, or a combination. Every repair is done properly — no bodge jobs, no shortcuts.
Colour Match & Paint
If paint's needed, I match your colour precisely using your paint code. The respray is blended into the surrounding panels so there's no visible line between old and new.
